별자리는 하늘의 이야기이면서 이 지상의 이야기이다.

Constellations are tales of the sky, yet also of this earth. 

 

 

창조되고 흩어지고 창조되고 사라지는 찬란한 소용돌이 속에서 

왜 우리는 무언가를 끊임없이 만들려고 하는지!

In the splendid maelstrom of creation and dissolution, of birth and scattering—  

Why do we, endlessly, strive to do something!   

 

 

모든 존재의 형성에는 꿈과 지향과 욕망이라는 방향성에 따라 만들어진 별자리들이 있다.

Constellation Links는 지향하여 만들어가는 모든 빛나는 삶의 순간들에 대한 이야기이며, 

관계와 상황 속에서 형성되는, 무상함을 기반으로 한 존재에 대한 이야기이다.

Every form, every being, is a constellation shaped by dreams, aspirations, and desires.  

Constellation Links weaves together all the radiant moments of life created in pursuit,  

A story of existence born of impermanence, shaped by relationships and situations.  

 

 

꿈꾸고 상상하며 만들어지는 별자리 

별자리를 만드는 두 가지 요소는 별과 선이다.

탄생과 소멸을 반복하는 별 

방향성을 가진 선

Constellations of dreams, shaped by imagination,  

two elements define them: stars and lines—  

Stars that are born, only to vanish and be reborn.  

Lines that hold direction, a path.  

 

 

선을 ‘긋는다’는 행위는 한 순간에 나의 현재의 모든 것을 담아내는 것이다. 

들숨과 날숨, 잠깐의 생각의 들락거림, 의식의 상태가 한 치도 숨김없이 그대로 드러난다. 

그래서 선은 현재형이다. 

내게 그림이란 이 순간 살아있음의 자각이다. 나의 전 존재를 오직 ‘지금’으로 투입하는 상태이다.

To having a stroke is to capture the entirety of one’s present moment. 

Inhale, exhale; fleeting thoughts wandering in and out—  

A state of consciousness laid bare, with nothing concealed.  

Thus, a line is ever in the present tense.  

I believe, painting is the realization of life lived now. It is my whole being surrendered to the “now.”  

 

 

나는 오로지 작업할 뿐이다.
